This is simply, good soap

When I sat down to start Hale Soaps, I knew that it was important to do so with a purpose. First, it had to be good soap. Second, I didn't want to price anyone out of good soap. Third, I wanted my customers to know what exactly is in my soap and why. Finally, in a sea of companies that care the minimum amount about their customers and employees, I want to treat my customers how I want to be treated as a customer.
We have 4 principles. Quality, Affordability, Transparency, and Integrity. We will never be a soap company that only makes expensive soap with little value to that expense. I hear from many people that there just isn't any soap widely available for their needs at a reasonable price. Most bars in this space retail for $1.50 - $2.00 per ounce. Hale Soaps is starting at under $1 per ounce and we intend to reduce that by refining our production processes. As we are able to do so, we will pass those savings along to our customers.
These principles have informed every aspect of the company. I keep in mind folks with sensitive skin and sensitive noses and cultural or religious sensitivities. There are no artificial fragrances or dyes.
Ingredient Transparency:
All of our bar soap contains lye. The following criteria were used to select our oils and fats, which are listed below.
Bubbly - How well the soap lathers.
Cleansing - How well the soap will dissolve in hard or salt water, but also indicates its effectiveness at stripping moisture and oil from your skin.
Condition – How smooth and soft your skin will feel.
Cost – How far your dollar stretches. We also prioritize efficiency in production for this reason.
Hardness – Physical hardness of the soap.
Longevity - How long the bar will last.
Stable – How long the lather lasts.
